I like the songs I have heard of his, but I have never owned one of his albums. I want to buy one and wanted some input from y’all (I am from Texas, sorry.) about which to buy.

Opinions?

That greatest Hits CD would be my pick also, along with Secret WOrld Live, Its a double disc live cd and It contains a lot of the big hits pefomed live.

Also, I dont know if you guys heard but Peter has a new album coming out next month.

I would start with Shaking the Tree-16 Golden Greats. It is a wonderful place to START! Then go out and get the ones that correspond to the tracks you like best. I highly recommend "Passion". It is quite different from all his other albums but quite beautiful.
You may want to even delve into some of his Genesis output. I would start with Genesis "LIVE". TR really loves this album and counts it as quite inspirational in his past. It ain't that Phil Collins pop-period Genesis. Prepared to be BLOWN AWAY!!!!

I've got the album So (yeah the one with sledgehammer on it) and it has some very interesting stuff. i heard a 'secret world live' which is a double disc and that was really really good. i suggest getting that if you're interested in his stuff. it has 'in your eyes' and 'red rain' which are both great songs

Same... I only know/like what I've heard of his that might have been on the radio a few years ago.
