Posted - 06/16/2002 : 01:05:50 AM I just saw this movie and I liked it a lot! If you have ever stepped foot on a skateboard you need to see this movie. It makes you realize how mainstream skateboarding has become. It also has some killer surf footage too. Go see it!

Posted - 07/04/2002 : 3:54:59 PM The kewlest thing about my room is that it is in the garage....which is completely seperated from the house. It's a converted garage (obviously....my parents aren't that strict) and I have to walk outside in order to get to my room. So they definetely can't hear anything.

Posted - 06/25/2002 : 04:16:49 AM I also raced motocross and BMX bikes. I did quite well. I have a bloody story from my motocross days. I will have to tell it sometime.

Posted - 06/25/2002 : 12:30:42 AM I could never do any tricks either, and in Mississippi we don't have hills really, so I couldn't barrell down one...And ramps were out of the question with my mom....and I was too far out in the sticks to do one sneakily at someone else's house...things were just intended for me to be a street BMX person (we had the concrete for that). I just missed my calling. Damn.

Posted - 06/24/2002 : 01:22:33 AM I think I have ridden that exact downhill course in my past.(Only I am pretty sure, if I remember correctly, the glue DID spill out as well.)

Posted - 06/23/2002 : 4:46:13 PM Hahaha!!! Reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Bart tries to impress Jessica Lovejoy By racing down the hill. First the ball bearings, then the oil, then the glue doesn't spill out of the truck, then the ant drops the sunflower seed.

Posted - 06/23/2002 : 10:16:57 AM I was never much of a trick rider myself. Frank was a big trickster. I was more the go fast down the hill, slalom racer. I have found you can get just as hurt from this method as with tricks.

Posted - 06/18/2002 : 9:53:15 PM That is what skateboarding is all about. That is why they are called the Broken Bones Brigade. I had a major accident when I was in 7th grade. You can still see the scars this many years latter. I think they soaked me in a tub for 6-8 hours and still I had pebbles growing out of me years later. I was wearing a half-shirt, shorts and tennis shoes. No pads, helmet, or protection of any kind. My skateboard shot under a car that was passing me at the TIMe of the accident. The car said it was going 30 mph so it figured I was going somewhere in the neighborhood of 20ish mph when I hit a rock in the road. DOAH!!! I love skateboarding. I got right back on it and road home. Luckily the car missed it when it went underneath or I would have been walking.

Posted - 06/16/2002 : 8:43:57 PM I have been so waiting for that movie to come out. I used to follow those guys when I was growing up. I am sure I still have all the articles I cut out from magazines somewhere. ME and pal Frank still ride out skateboards and I still have my G&S Fiberflex slalom board with ACS trux and Hobie wheels. I don't think they even make those anymore. I was at Franks this weekend and he had the Bones Brigade video from the 70's and I was trying to tell him about the movie but I couldn't remember the name. I can't wait to see it. Ahh the good ole days!!!
