He's really good. Kind of an English folk guy. I'm sure that as famous as he is everyone here's heard of him, but I was just introduced to his music. As long as he doesn't sing, he's good. And his singing isn't even nearly as good as Leo Kottke. I like him, too.

Posted - 05/23/2002 : 08:30:07 AM He's pretty ok. Not something I would go from MS to CA to see, tho. I might do that for Leo Kottke. He's that good. Bert is just ... I don't know. I read that he did for the acoustic guitarists what Hendrix did for the electric.
Well, if they say so. I say Leo's got him beat hands down.

Posted - 05/23/2002 : 07:40:25 AM Bert Jansch is very popular among the folkies in DC. We have alot of people come in looking for his records. I have never heard him that I am aware of. On your recommendation, I will look into it.
