OK, I'm probably the last person on this board to post about this ... but like I said, I've been busy as hell.

I just pulled down the Lillywhite Sessions from Morpheus, and WOW! This has got to be some of the best DMB stuff in existance. I am truely suprised it's this good. Finally, an album that resembles some of their old stuff.

Y'all can kick me now for commenting on it like months after the fact

lilywhite sessions and everyday i got at the same time, which was 2 weeks before everyday was out in stores. There isn't any comparison, lilywhite just blows it all away!!!

Speaking, of Everyday songs, I managed to download a small clip of DMB playing If I had it all. It sounded great with Dave playing acoustic, and the sax got a little piece at the end.

I appreciate that Silky. Ah....July 8th.

Hehe I think that's partly because they were getting ready to release it for a while so they played the songs live... then they decided to scrap the album, but everyone still wanted to hear the songs so they still played them along with the old stuff and the Everyday stuff. I love how they give such a good mix of all their albums in concert!

even on their first tour after everyday came out they played alot and i mean alot of lws songs. go back to their set lists on their web site and check. atleast 3-4 songs from lillywhite usually a show.

Sorry I don't know... none of my buddies are into taping. But we always seem to find a copy of the shows afterwards (usually within a few weeks) so of course I'll make sure to get you a copy somehow.

Hehe I would say yes, but I won't be there... I'm going to have to go straight to the show from school and back immediately after.

Silky is oh so right. Bring a blanket to lay on the ground so your little patch of grass is your space. Hope you have nice weather!!

{=HTG=} Posted - 04/14/2002 : 11:36:40 AM
Heck yeah Liz, thanks. I'm gonna make sure to leave three hours in advance to get a good place out on the lawn. Silky suggested to leaving early, cuase it can get packed quiclky, leaving you stranded in the back. Dont want that. . .

LizT Posted - 04/14/2002 : 11:32:10 AM
Have a blast HTG! They should be really fired up by the time you see them!! I was very pleased with the Philly show.

{=HTG=} Posted - 04/14/2002 : 11:25:10 AM
Thats great news Liz, I cant wait for them to come down to ATL. My first Dave concert, yea!

LizT Posted - 04/14/2002 : 11:19:12 AM
Hey Dave, DMB played quite a few songs from LW Sessions at the DC show. The past 2 years they have been playing many of those songs at the concerts. The lyrics to some of them are evolving. Raven seems to be popular this year. Bartender is a great jam song when they cut loose. Just a feeling, but if they make an official release of LWS I'll bet that it ends up being the all time high for their album sales. By the way, I found a nice cover art for LWS is you are interested.

If you pick one off the website, LMK which one and I can send you a much higher resolution copy and maybe it will come out clearer. I can email you an original from the disc. That might be better and easier to work with. LMK

That'd be really cool, but you don't have to get Him to sign it. I just want to get an nice 8x10 of TIM playing my guitar to hang on the wall. I'll try to print a nice copy of it and see how it comes out.

Yup, that would be her, Jenn. She's a good kid , that's my little sister.

Oh yeah, did you read the part of my email about the picture? Let me know if there's any way you could do that - I'd be forever grateful :)

Always glad to help when I can! I got your email and it sounds like fun. Sorry I can't commit to it this far out but if I can make it I will definitely be there. Thanx for the invite.

ps:Didn't I meet your sister? Is this the one that got the guitar signed for you?
