The topic will be on Monsters, or the idea of something monstrous. One of the Texts for class is Frankenstein which I've yet to read. I just finished reading the first assignment which was a short story by Nathanial Hawthorne called Rappaccini's Daughter. It was really cool. Finally I get assigned some dark and twisted (and fun) texts as opposed to that ^&*#^%@%#* Shakespeare.

Posted - 04/03/2002 : 1:57:41 PM I must admit, I think that the STORIES of some Shakespear are great regardless of the language or how cheesy the story is presented. I still love the stories of Othello, Macbeth, Midsummer Night's Dream etc... but I'll still take an Indiana Jones movie any day. -J

Posted - 04/03/2002 : 04:58:08 AM That is really kewl about your class and it sounds like a really kewl class. I hope your teacher turns out to be as kewl as the class. Sometimes a teacher can ruin a perfectly enjoyable subject. Good luck with it. Let us know who it goes!
