Ok...maybe I'll just have to go on and find a place to get this album here in Oxford...I'm sure someone has it, but I might have to pay twice retail. Maybe I'll wait. Maybe I can't decide, I'm not even sure of that.

No one understands me.

Yea, be careful, I almost bought the wrong one until TR pointed out that I wanted the double not the single. It cost a little more but it was well worth it. The packaging is beautiful. The music is amazing. Money well spent.

best buy, get the and all that could have been 2 disc set, first disk is their live show, second is the still companion disk, which is mellow songs and remakes of old ones. all great.

Damn, it would be so hard for me to pick a fave off that disc. It is all just great. The live show that Still came with is awesome as well. Guess I will just sit back and sip another........

my fav song off of the still disc has to be 'and all that could have been' I just love the way he flows from 7/8 to 8/8 so easily. and makes it sound so great. And the bacwards voice building up to him screaming (kinda). crazy.

I finally got the NIN set with the bonus disc Still. It is AWESOME!! Thanx for letting me know that was out there. I would have been really sad to have missed that disc. It is one of my faves. We played it endlessly on the past tour. That and Ministry "Sphinctour". Rew even went out and bought the video. It was great as well only they do alot of video location editing that personally annoys me in live videos but it was still amazing. AJ is the also "The Man"!

I heard there are a bunch of easter eggs on that DVD, anyone find any?

joemoe Posted - 03/29/2002 : 10:47:01 PM
I never really got into NIN. And what DID happen between Trent and Marolynn Manson anyway???

Saint Jude Posted - 03/29/2002 : 6:14:09 PM
Have you seen the new dvd fluf? Cuz on Piggy he smacks the mic on his head and it makes a kewl sound perfectly in time w/ the song. I lauged so hard when i first saw it. You cant hear it very well on the cd but u can fine on the dvd.

That is like trying to pick a favorite Beatles song, too many to even contemplate picking "A" favorite. I do really like the video where he keeps throwing the mic down. From the quiet bits to the aggressive bits, now that is genius. Plus, it was genius to add the sound of the mic hitting the floor in the breaks, that was inspired and inspiring.

Perfect Drug and Closer. Best songs.

I just got into NIN about a month ago. I always appreciated what Trent Reznor did but never really got into the music. I am an audio production major and I love those albums that have that special production quality that separate them from other albums of the day (even though the songs might not be as good, thats the way "Everyday" is, it just has a killer sound & good production quality). My friend, knowing this, recomended that I pick up The Fragile. I got it and it blew me away, that album is fucking amazing, Trent Reznor is a true musical and production genius. And, I actually love the songs, lots of them, its a different kind of NIN. The Fragile is one of my favorite albums of all time and definitley one of the best produced. Cant wait to check out that link and get a copy of the DVD, which I heard is supposed to be NIN stripped down to the basics, sound like it would be pretty good.

way ahead of ya man, i got it 3 weeks ago or so. and yes it is quite amazing. my fav remix on it would probably be the fragile, or something i can never have.... its to tough to call. But yes NIN kicks ass.

That sounds wonderful, in a dark morose kindaNIN kinda way. I am really looking forward to it. I think Fragile is going to one day be considered a classic album from the genre. It is genius. I will definitely check out Still and pass the info along to TR. Thanx for the heads-up!!

wow, that sounds excellent. I'll check it out for sure. I have their dvd and it is awesome, I also just burned Fragile from my girls copy and I was truely impressed, especially with some of the intrumental songs... so I could imagine that acoustic versions would be awesome. Thanks for the heads up

NIN are awesome. I'll definitely have to check that out. Thanks!!!

Peace,
