I have been working on a test document all week long for a client/server application that I built for the company that I work for. This application is massive, I mean huge ... 150K lines of code in the user interface alone - not to mention all of the COM objects that we built (DLL's).
So, I'm sitting here just about to finish the testing document which is about 70 pages long and my FUCKING COMPUTER CRASHED!!! Somehow, MS Excel ate the damn document that I had saved on the network (which was open at the time) and I can no longer accesss it. The fucking file size of the xls spreadsheet is now 0KB. I am so fucked ... 32 hours wasted this week.
AHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!! Ok, I'm seriously going to go postal now and start killing people. I've had it, I have officially been pushed beyond my limit and I've cracked. DAMNIT THIS SUCKS!!!! At least the fucking code didn't get destroyed, I at least have that in Visual Sourse Safe - that fucking thing is like fort knox. But did I put the documentation there as well? Oh no ... I had to put it on the network instead. MOTHER FUCKER!!!! There is no way the network guys will do a system restore for one fucking file either, it's just not worth the expense to the bank to recover it.
FUCK!!! I gotta do this all over again ... Hope it all works out, and I don't see some guy getting arrested on tv tonight because he shot up his office.
