Anyone else here play paintball? I love playing, in fact I'm even on a tournament team. I'm just getting ecxited, because the paintball season is starting back up next month and I can't wait to get back out there and play!

Nah, if you shoot someone in Texas, I think they will still die.

But you might not get arrested, you're right. But if they don't die, I think you are required by law to be their friend for the rest of your life.

Yeah, but where else can you outright shoot someone and not get arrested - nor kill them?

About $60 for a case, which is 2000 rounds. When I'm playing a tournament, I'll use about 2 cases a day. When I'm just screwing around with friends I don't use nearly that much.

I don't have that one anymore ... I have the same gun, but it's chrome instead. I should be getting it in the mail in a week or two, I'm soooooo excited. It can shoot up to 20 balls per second on full auto :)

That is some serious firepower, Lotus...I've never played paintball, but I've always been trying to get a trip to go...the closest place you can rent the stuff to me is over an hour...and you know how lazy people are...not willing to do anything...

And really, it would be kinda boring by myself. Shooting paintballs straight up in the air, changing gear to the other team, dodging the ball that was careening toward me from space, then changing back and repeating the process...

I love to paintball! I've only played once, but I had a ton of fun. The first game we played I got shot in the mask and the paint seeped through and I was tasting paint for the rest of the day. But the next game we played I took out 5 of the 6 on the other team and took the flag back to the base. I wish I could go again, especially with my friends who play as often as me, then it's a lot more fun because everything that happens you can laugh off.

The purple yellow and black one sounds quite nice. I love purple and yellow together. Although purple and green are my fave together. My favorite comic book character is purple and yellow. I wanna play on that team.

The guys that wear the camo are usually rednecks. I have a 'uniform' that I wear which consists of:

Black cargo pants
Brown hiking boots (or cleates depending on field conditions)
Team Jersey - we have two: one is black, bright green and red. The other is bright purple, yellow and black.

I usually wear loud obnoxious colors and confortable cloths. Camoflauge is for the commando type who thinks he/she is rambo.

That is always a good excuse to take it seriously. I was talking about the guys who live and breathe it, walking around in camo and those goggles all the time. That is just a little excessive and scary. I think I would like it more when its played for fun. Isn't that why we are suppose to play GAMES?

When I'm playing recreational games, i'm pretty laid back and I just want to have some fun. Usually, I hang with the newbies and give them some advice on their game or help them out on the field.

However, when playing a tournament, I take it very seriously - usually there's some cool prizes or cash at steak.

I played 1 time. I really liked it though. Some people take it WAY to seriously. I didn't like getting shot in the inside of my thigh, that really hurt. Even more than getting shot in the neck. I would do it again if the opportunity presented itself. I used to love to play special forces when i was a wee lad. I commanded big imaginary armys and small imaginary "crack squads" on secret missions. I love that stuff. FUN FUN FUN
