LOL! It was a pretty funny show! Anyway, if you watched, did you like the band? My son gave me a CD about a month ago of a mix of their songs. If you didn't see it, they are called The Strokes. They played a song called Last Nite, a very kewl song I must say!

Awe gee guys!! Thanks a lot! Aging is what you make of it. I'll admit I'm different than most of the people my age. Now they are a bunch of old farts! Yeah, I'm probably one of TR's oldest fans, but shit...I'm damn proud of it!! Fluffy thanks for the sweet compliment, this old girl appreciates it! Hey Kevin, that is very cool about DDP! I haven't heard that one. Did you watch royal rumble? LOL I did, it was a blast!

Hehe, after all of those compliments you were throowing my way when you 1st started posting (laughing at my jokes and all...) I have to admit, I was hoping you were my age, and based on your attitude, I sure thought you were.
Here is a wrestling reference for you and your son Liz, you can be compared to Diamond Dallas Page since he is often reffered to as the man who is 45, but looks like he is 35 and performs like he is 25.
You're only as old as you want to be, and I'll be damned if Liz aint in her 20s!!

Indeed, Liz is quite the hot property. She even has her bellybutton pierced. I bet noone on the board would have guessed her age if you had just met her out in public at a TR show. You go girl!!!!

LOL Fluffy! I think Silky was being polite because he knows how old I am. There was a post asking my age, and I actually had the nerve at the time to admit it! Black Lotus had a good laugh. And I will boldly say to BL that if he saw me he wouldn't be laughing! I think I've aged quite gracefully and don't look like my chronological age!! You know what I look like Fluffy, help me out here! Silky, you don't have to treat me like your mom! I must say, it's quite nice being treated with respect! That seems to be lacking in my personal life at the moment!!

Sorry Silky, but as you can imagine, I AM on eggshells. I am probably overly sensitive to those kinds of comments right now and is just another example of why I need to go. It is not the fun, carefree place it once was FOR ME. I hope you can straighten things out with Isaac, I would hate to see him go because of all this. I feel I have brought the board to a new low and I just can't live with that. I guess Isaac can. Sorry again for ruining this great thing and I hope you can all return it to its former glory. Fluffy I just want you to know I am not on edge AT ALL. I would have said that the same 3 months ago as right now. In the rare situations where I can lay off sarcasm long enough to convey a rational thought, I generally will put a "disclaimer" of sorts such as "respectfully disagree" or "my opinion is..." around my opinions because a lot of people get very pissed off when you state your opinion as fact. As you may or may not have already read in other posts, I don't feel that an argument between you and Isaac is really my business, and for that I don't feel AT ALL like I have to walk on eggshells. That is between two people other than myself, so I fail to see why I would need to change my actions as a result. Again, interpretation is everything.

Again let me state, there is nothing to get THROUGH to me about on this matter. I still believe everyone can agree to disagree. I STILL feel that way. My anger is not over an argument or disagreement on the issues in "that post". My anger is over the personal attack waged against me by Isaac. My bad and my mistake were resorting to a personal attack of Isaac based on my anger of his attack on me. This is not over a disagreement on issues. I think if you go back and read what I have written time and time again. I was not trying to CONVINCE Isaac of anything. I was not trying to change his mind, just open it a little to the opposite side and issues. Where he choose to go with that info is up to him and I believe everyone should make their own decisions about things and come up with their own ideas and beliefs. Even if I do not agree with those ideas and beliefs. Many people in the aftermath of my explosion have said it much better than I. IndianaJames for instance. His comments summed up very well how I feel, he was much better at putting it more eloquently than I could have. There have been others as well. Everyone seems to have the point. This is supposed to be a fun place with the exchange of ideas among friends who may or may not agree. It is the personal attack that led to my outrage. Again I am sorry for taking it out on all of you and spreading descension among the board. I really should have thought about the outcome of my actions b4 flying off the handle like I did. It was very childish. I AM SORRY for ruining your board and the dynamic of it. I hope all can go on and return to the way it was b4 my ridiculous outburst.

Ahhh yes, I watch SNL every week. (although I can't say I'm looking forward to next week's show with Brittnay Spears).
I thought it was a so-so show, but it certainly had a few good parts. I think I like the demon who wanted a slut skit the best.
As for the Strokes, I like that song Last Night, but I can't say that I like their performances... I've seen a few and they are all the same, they just stand there completely emotionless and strum away.

Hehe it is cool to be able to know pretty much who ALL the regulars are, though, unlike a lot of boards where it's just too big to be personal. I think this is the "small town atmosphere" of messageboards.

I just want to say that it just goes to show that this is more than just a message board. It's quite amazing how cyberspace has gotten a bunch of people together in mind and spirit! Even though, most of us haven't met each other we still think about each other, hopefully in a good way.

Hehe, I also thought that "Happy Birthday" skit was hysterical... though as my friends and I who were watching realized it was also one of the single most bizarre things we've ever seen. Also... see how easy it is to "agree to disagree" ... now if we could only get that through to Isaac and Fluffy :)
